This is it, everyone! Starting Monday January 17th we will be CLOSED while we move up to our new unit on the upper level of our building! It’s going to take us a few days, so stay tuned for a grand re-opening date. We’re shooting for Friday but we’ll see if it takes a bit longer.
The new address is the same as the old one, but instead of Suite 9 we’ll now be in Suite 6. It’s right next door to King’s Wok and where Artist’s Edge used to be a little while back. A lot of our regular customers didn’t even know there WAS an upper level to the building, but you can rest assured that there is still a proper driveway and parking lot. It’s on the Burger King side of the building, directly across from the drive-through. If you’d still like to park at the lower level, there’s a staircase around the corner that takes you right to us! We even have a nice wheelchair ramp right in front!
This new unit is about double the size of our old space and we’re aiming to make the new layout a bit less claustrophobic than the old one. The counters and entranceway were specifically planned out with a powered wheelchair in mind. We may be losing the overall ‘gamer garage’ feel of the old store, but what we’re gaining is MUCH more space for product and a cleaner, more professional look that’s (hopefully) easier to navigate.
Along with the move there are a few small changes to our overall operations, but store hours are staying the same for the time being and trade price evaluations and basic repairs are still done as always. And just so everyone’s on the same page, the store’s phone number is also staying the same.
We hope you all look forward to the new store’s layout! Keep an eye out here or on our facebook page for updates on when exactly the re-opening will be. We’ll announce it in both places. You can all look forward to a grand re-opening sale along with a massive slew of great games we just got in that we’ve been too busy to show you all, but will hopefully be ready for launch.
