Big Red’s has an extremely wide selection of video gaming goodness, from the early days of gaming in the 1970s all the way through to today! From Coleco and Atari to Xbox and PlayStation, we’ve got it all.

More Than Just A Game Store
We do more than just sell games! We also do basic repairs and maintenance on your classic devices. We can replace pin connectors in your classic NES systems, fix a wiggly power port in your Sega Genesis, and maybe even get your PlayStation 2 to read disks again. Our services range based on the staff’s individual skill levels, so repairs are done on a case by case basis. Call the store or send an email to let us know what you have in mind, and we’ll let you know what we can do!
If your favorite cartridge game just won’t save its progress anymore, it’s likely that its internal battery has died. These batteries are typically rated for about 20 years, but that can vary based on demand. For example, the generation 2 Pokemon games hold way more data than your average game and run a real-time clock, so they might last 10 years if you’re lucky. Here at Big Red’s we can replace your old cartridge battery with a fresh one to keep your favorite game running for years to come!
Mods and More
Our staff is experienced with doing common mods on various systems, particularly portable consoles. From re-shelling your old GameBoy to installing a backlit screen and rechargeable battery in your Neo Geo Pocket Color, we can help! We can help you determine what your specific project might entail, direct you to places to buy the parts, and finally, do the labor for you here in store (if you’re not comfortable doing it yourself, that is!).
Please note, we do NOT install mod chips or Optical Drive Emulators (ODE’s). We can help with region modding certain cartridge-based machines, but we CAN NOT install any device or chip that will allow for pirated software to be played. That means no soft modding or chips that allow for ROMs, ISOs, or anything of that nature. We cannot and will not support piracy.
One Gamer’s Trash is Another Gamer’s Treasure
All of our used product comes from people like you who trade in their old games for something new! People will bring in their old games and consoles to trade in towards something new, or to simply sell it for cash. That old GBA SP that’s been sitting in your closet for a decade will find a nice loving home through us! We can offer cash or store credit for your old gaming goods so you can get what you really want!
